Dr. Gert D. Ahrer’s resultsoriented approach supports companies in creating a culture of excellence. Dr. Ahrer’s focus on strategic HR and the impact of people on the bottom line, has served many corporations well. For thirteen years he was Corporate HR Director of British Petroleum (BP) where he also served as a member of the Management Board.
In Kosovo, he provided hands-on development as Head of HR to the world’s largest security-oriented
intergovernmental organization, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). Further to this, he provided innovative leadership as HR Director to Telekom Austria.
As a resourceful leader in the field of education, Dr. Ahrer was Programme Director and Head of the Department for Strategic Human Resources, Organizational Behaviour and Management Skills at the Ashridge Business School in the United Kingdom, where – inter alia - he initiated their first Consortium MBA.
He is a certified psychotherapist, mediator and organizational psychologist who has studied in Austria, America and the United Kingdom. Gert’s holistic perspectives from his many roles and his wide educational background have contributed into many organizations in a systemic and sustainable way.
For the last seven years, he has maximized leadership potential and increased bottom line results for corporations all over Europe as an International Consultant and Executive Coach under his motto - “Excellence in Action”.
